Yeah, basically. I understand that "state" has a broader meaning, which is why I'm unsure about using the word "stateless". The key difference is there can be multiple variations of Farcaster Hubs that eventually converge, while in blockchains there must be a strict state transition everyone agrees to in real time

From my understanding (which may be wrong) Farcaster Hubs come to a loose consensus on the current state of the social network. Because it's loose and not strict it's considered stateless?

this article is right on, but although zk coprocessors are awesome don’t forget the other PETs! to build truly collaborative private state we need tech like MPC which distributes trust across nodes

 It may be helpful  to define more "stateless" by opposition of what's a "state" of a blockchain and how it's achieved.  For a larger (uneducated) audience like me, it kinda feels there is this timestamp needed / achieved somewhere

Apparently, there's increased interest in stateless infra lately - people just attach tokens to it and call it DePIN🙈

Minted, what's your opinion on using AVSs for the non blockchain component to still guarantee uptime and censorship resistance for these components?
