This seems pretty interesting. Mao Xiangdong, Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Technology said that Shanghai could open up to global internet, including access to FB, Instagram, X, etc. If this goes through & if TikTok ban remains in effect, soon we may have a situation where more media is censored in the USA than in China. https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/UuuYMael-N2QWyQ5aDXheQ

If we are ever in a situation where more media in the US is censored than in China, barring a revolution in China, than something has gone seriously wrong.

Wouldn't this totally undermine their efforts to counteract color revolution through social media (an explicit motive of the US government)? I wonder how they will balance that.
