This seems pretty interesting. Mao Xiangdong, Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Technology said that Shanghai could open up to global internet, including access to FB, Instagram, X, etc. If this goes through & if TikTok ban remains in effect, soon we may have a situation where more media is censored in the USA than in China. https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/UuuYMael-N2QWyQ5aDXheQ

Wouldn't this totally undermine their efforts to counteract color revolution through social media (an explicit motive of the US government)? I wonder how they will balance that.

my guess - I think our relationship with truth will be even more obscure in the future and China is probably realizing that before most of us. in other words, it might not even matter 🤷‍♂️
