Music tastes peak after teenage years, and then afterwards you tend to lock into what you like, which means you tend to have an aversion to most new music. People tend to universally love whatever music is popular during their teenage years. So... it might just be getting older 😅

If you’re only paying attention to Taylor Swift and whatever else is on mainstream radio of course you’re going to have a bad time. But same can be said about any generation of music. It’s just that the good stuff from our childhood endures while the rest fades away. Good music springs eternal. You just need to be willing to open your mind and look for it.
