I subscribe to the theory that the reason why the current generation is so depressed is because their music is so terrible. 

So The Death of Slim Shady is a gift from my generation to yours.

If you’re only paying attention to Taylor Swift and whatever else is on mainstream radio of course you’re going to have a bad time. 

But same can be said about any generation of music. It’s just that the good stuff from our childhood endures while the rest fades away.

Good music springs eternal. You just need to be willing to open your mind and look for it.
