planning to re sub to one of the AIs — are people preferring gpt or claude these days?

Claude for reliable consistent outputs (especially coding) with a tone I prefer.

OpenAI for multimodal utility. 

hard for me to recommend anything but Claude, even as I recognize that o1 and 4o have more broad applicability. 

right now o1 is the recently minted leader. hard to argue with that. but Sonnet 3.5 is rock solid.

i'd rather kill the radio and listen to the rain hit

ultimately, you will likely prefer whichever model you learn to manipulate. 

so just pick one.
