I was using Claude very happily but got stumped on a coding question I hopped back to o1 to see if it could not solve and it not only did but provided extremely well thought out reasoning

Claude for reliable consistent outputs (especially coding) with a tone I prefer. OpenAI for multimodal utility. hard for me to recommend anything but Claude, even as I recognize that o1 and 4o have more broad applicability. right now o1 is the recently minted leader. hard to argue with that. but Sonnet 3.5 is rock solid.
