I think this take is directionally correct but with many, many exceptions lol. hot takes are here, just not equally distributed.

even I’ve posted plenty of takes on here that were not well-received, mostly about memecoins and speculation.

I think the difference is that CT is a form of entertainment like a reality TV show, which is part of its appeal. I think it’s hilarious, but it’s also an information warzone full of psyops and outright hostility.

conversely, purple app is much more earnest and thoughtful. casters are usually trying to post with intention and care. they also know that there are VCs, founders, and other professional people in higher density here than CT. so that might be where the slight linkedin energy creeps in.
