Direct Casts Airing of Grievances

If you've been using DCs for a while or even just a few minutes, let me have it in this thread – what are your pain points, frustrations, etc.?

So here's the big question on such a behavior: say you add token gating after inviting people, or invite people after adding a token gate. Should it:
- automatically kick out the manually invited users?
- keep them?
If the latter, what if they leave, then get the token, then join again, and sell the token?

Token-gating seems to only work at entrance, so someone can buy NFT on secondary, get in chat, then sell.

Would be nice for it to be enforced.

@dwr.eth not sure who to contact for bug reports but linking directly to DMs with `https://warpcast.com/~/inbox/${myFID}-${theirFID}` seems to be broken

Loving them. We’re using one as our only communication HQ for /yellow. Biggest utility addition would be replies and it’s not close!

New grievance!  I can’t remove reactions.

This resulted in a hilariously inappropriate reaction from @trewkat.eth that could not be removed.  So maybe it’s a feature.

most obvious one: reply (hehe)

but main thing for me: being able to continue reading where i left off. with a 🔽 arrow if i wanna reach the latest. 

basically giving reader the choice/optionality to read how they want instead of enforcing the “latest” message. (discord does this well)

I used to have my DCs open to everyone, but I started to get spam, so I changed it to followers only.

Ideally a “direct cast request” section where I can swipe to delete would be nice to clean up my inbox.

would like to drop images into direct casts instead of waiting for macos screenshot to be on desktop -> load via image picker -> delete from desktop

So far DC's have been great for me. Just not sure if it is possible to delete DC's or group them in either a main folder or a spam folder.

So ideally I'd delete or hide the spam messages or be able to group "important" casts in a shared folder. 🙏

Two big issues for me: 

- New msgs take too long to load
- Sometimes WC app crashes while im writing a msg

Would also like the ability to directly reply to a particular msg.

Replies! Sometimes gets a bit messy with different threads of conversation overlapping

The see who reacted to a DC cast panel doesn't minimize when you try. Forces you to close and restart the entire app. Sample screenshot included.

Search only shows you people with DC enabled, which makes sense but I think it would be nice to show you everyone and just notify/label that they are not accepting DCs, this also lets you add features later like "use warps to slide into DCs" or whatever

quote reply so you have reference to the original message which may have disappeared in a long chat. i like how you can left swipe a message on android chat and it quotes it.
