Not E2EE, they shut down communities who had done no wrong (r/WSB), their apps are unstable, they constantly watch what apps you're running (this is so it can show what game you're playing but it's not privacy preserving), they're screwing with bot devs, ...

you can't separate your account on each server, so one identity is shared across all, they have no strategy for monetization in a way that incentivizes guild admins to make it worthwhile (revshare?), the list goes on. It's why one of my side projects is a decentralized discord.

They have multi-account mode available. And they do have multi-server profiles in the nitro subscription. Where I can create separate profile catered to a given server. Is that insufficient?

I primarily use discord on mobile, wasn’t aware they finally added multi account. That’s great news, but that’s minor compared to the other problems.

I agree. They fixed the bot issue by introducing a UX+Ui improvement by wrapping it under message requests. If you accept the message from unknown account only then it shows up on your common message feed section.
