re, /degen channel spam: @v has proposed a one-time fee to post in the channel (unless you get banned, in which case you pay again). Prototype would be warps (off-chain points), then transition on-chain to $degen (eventually).

Should /degen charge $degen to cast here?

I don’t believe this will have any positive effect on spam and could deter folks who could otherwise come, add positively to the vibe, and become degen-rich one day. 

It feels like the kind of thing that guarantees a pay to play, rich get richer environment.

Just need more mods... I'm pretty liberal with my mute button and it seems to work fairly well.

I propose four options, some of which I’ve mentioned before:

1. Leads, Reddit style. 
2. Concensus of active users flagging posts
3. Algorithmic removal from channel with appeal to leads to re-add
4. Nothing, but users can mute words

And a bonus:
5. Leads can mute, users can choose to show muted
