Twitter got a big ACD update thread, but Farcaster gets the real alpha: tomorrow @vgr, @joshdavislight and myself will be revealing the outputs of the first Summer of Protocols cohort at 9:30am PT 👀 All info here: https://bit.ly/protocolkit-launch ☀️ See you there 😄

I just realised i misread the stats, you're in the unlucky 6.3%. May the gods of randomness look favourably upon you.

Odds after two weeks of trying (assuming that browser tab is connected 100% of the time) are ~75%

Odds of being included in the KZG ceremony before the 1st public contribution period closes are ~97.7%. Have you contributed yet anon? https://i.imgur.com/wukkh6w.png

Looking at the requirements, they seem very doable on a home server: - 20 GiB storage (nothing) - some decent compute (i assume many have a bunch spare) - a gigabit internet connection should leave enough left over, no?

I asked this question to Erigon in the bird app a while ago. Basically the EVM code is largely unchanged, but the rest of it is fairly distinct (state, networking, tx pool, etc). So it really depends where a potential bug resides

as a researcher employed by the EF, i use the term because i don’t want to enshrine the EF as THE research entity. there are a bunch of brilliant people doing lots of cool research from many different companies and the quality of everyone’s research should speak for itself
