I was thinking more about this. One example for me is "Collage with Squares Arranged According to the Laws of Chance" by Hans Arp. This is an art of randomness. I thought about a system using dice to define where and how to paint something in real life, creating the art based on the randomness of the dice results. Could this analog system be considered an algorithm?
