It's hard to define because not all generative are procedural or code too. Hahah its a black hole of terms

I was thinking more about this. One example for me is "Collage with Squares Arranged According to the Laws of Chance" by Hans Arp. This is an art of randomness. I thought about a system using dice to define where and how to paint something in real life, creating the art based on the randomness of the dice results. Could this analog system be considered an algorithm?

But in this case I'm saying genart can exist without a machine, only using a system and a process with some level of autonomy. But some reseraches say genart lives only with the algo and the computer (my teacher Marilia Lyra Bergamo) But in both scenarios the system have some autonomy on the work without 100% control of the artist, maybe we can call SystematicArt? Haha
