I am seriously thinking about learning to code and I need some advice. What would be the best language to learn? Is there a way to learn it on my own using online resources? Is there an app for that? How long does it take to learn from zero to something useful?

If I were you I would start a free online python course for beginners and also start vibecoding with Windsurf or Bolt + ask the ai copilot to use python and explain the code in simple terms. You don't need to learn to code anymore in order to do what you say you want to do. It's cool if you want to, but not needed.

Most of people suggest JavaScript or python. I’m thinking what to do. Meanwhile, I am doing something that looks like Duolingo for coding just to have an introduction.
