Today I had a coffee that the processing method was anaerobic washed. It was from El Salvador and tasted pretty good. Does anyone know what anaerobic washed means? What is anaerobic in the process and what’s the aim of this process?

It was a filter coffee. The process to prepare the beans was the anaerobic washed thing. I’m also curious to know how it works. Let’s see if someone can explain.
