Anyone else experience bruising from resistance training? After a “normal” workout, I developed bruising on my triceps underneath my arms. The internet is pretty light and inconsistent on data/information on the topic, and am a bit concerned. Vitamin deficiency, immunodeficiency, sprain, etc all possible.

cc @keccers.eth or @poymeetsworld in case they know also this used to happen to me in college when i was lifting as a D1 athlete but we were always told to be careful as it could precede rhabdo

Wow, googling rhabdo is terrifying. Was it recurring? Did it heal naturally? Interfere with muscle building? Or purely innocuous

nah, you’d know if you had rhabdo, i promise! mine would heal naturally, but would eat healthy, not drink alcohol afterwards, etc but it’s been awhile since i was lifting like that cc @v can you cc your trainer? he may have a better answer ps @lesh YOU LOOK INCREDIBLE! i’m so impressed w/ your fitness journey

hard to tell. “normal” mid-intensity typically shouldn’t cause overtraining. May be good to see a doc to get a more accurate answer.
