I’m stuck in a position where I really dislike the “comment, recast, quote for a tip” / the raffles that have been going on. It’s a cheap way to get engagement and feels unauthentic. It undermines a lot of what tipping was supposed to be. But at the same time, I have benefited tremendously from them. Thoughts?

Short term vs long term goals. Short term: make some coins with low effort networks of engagement farmers. Long term: build a network of interesting people to do cool shit with. Too much spamming of contests on your feed will push away more interesting people. So what are your goals and how do you balance them?

I have always tried to use quality content and humor to drive my engagement. This is a thread I wrote comparing "quantity versus quality" and my findings after 1 month on Warpcast. I hope it helps! https://warpcast.com/burrrrrberry/0x2dc74caa

There are places for that, it just isn't here. Doing stuff like that will attract engagement, but not the kind you want. Not all followers and engagement are created equal. If you want to run a giveaway in line with the channel norms, I have no issues with that. Check with me first if you're unsure please.

Yeah, I've grown my entire follower base on organic content. Never did a single giveaway so its possible. 😁 ⚡

i think a little bit of both goes a long way honestly. I love the threads of conversation but also love to just be silly. Mixing it up has been the most fun

People will always try to maximize the benefits of a system. It's how we have been conditioned. There can be algo changes, but people have to figure out for themselves what they value. Also long term thinking is what is most beneficial to a system but rarely do we operate in those time frames.
