I’m stuck in a position where I really dislike the “comment, recast, quote for a tip” / the raffles that have been going on. It’s a cheap way to get engagement and feels unauthentic. It undermines a lot of what tipping was supposed to be. But at the same time, I have benefited tremendously from them. Thoughts?

People will always try to maximize the benefits of a system. It's how we have been conditioned. 

There can be algo changes, but people have to figure out for themselves what they value. Also long term thinking is what is most beneficial to a system but rarely do we operate in those time frames.

Yeah, I definitely can’t mad at engagement farmers necessarily. Like you said they’re just maximizing the benefits and when it comes to money, it’s hard to blame anyone. Wish there was a better solution
