I’m stuck in a position where I really dislike the “comment, recast, quote for a tip” / the raffles that have been going on. It’s a cheap way to get engagement and feels unauthentic. It undermines a lot of what tipping was supposed to be. But at the same time, I have benefited tremendously from them. Thoughts?

Short term vs long term goals. Short term: make some coins with low effort networks of engagement farmers. Long term: build a network of interesting people to do cool shit with. Too much spamming of contests on your feed will push away more interesting people. So what are your goals and how do you balance them?

Replies are how you connect with people. It's the longer term game of building a network. Less easy to quantify and more valuable.

That’s 100% fair, right now I balance it through my reply vs my casts.

My replies are lower quality than my original casts. Not sure that’s the right answer though.
