Getting annoyed at other people's entitlements has caused me to reflect on my own entitlements. You are not entitled to a single thing in this life. Not health nor wealth nor happiness. I think a lot of unhappiness is downstream of the mistaken belief that you deserve something you aren't getting

I would agree with one caveat…

I would hope that my kids are entitled to unconditional love from myself and my wife, and to many other aspects of care during their childhood years.

My old saying… “lose your expectations and you have nothing else to lose”.
