Suggestions on Christmas presents for your kids that aren't toys (am I already too late π )? Their lists are all dolls, action figures, legos, board games. But they have so many of these already! Also tempted to go no presents but that'll prolly "traumatize" them π

We sometimes go down the craft routeβ¦ one idea is a mini βcarnival game maker set for eachβ, time to make their own inventions and then a time for everyone to play each game. Just collect random stuff. My daughter made a decent trampoline skiball game with marbles, yogurt containers, balloons, and cardboard.

This is less a gift then a different family activity, but such competitions can be built up a la the british bake-off. Just insert your own theme and activity. Solo or teams etc.

Yea, this is cool. We've accumulated so much 'junk' we don't regularly use and so would love to reduce that expectation of buying things to express love. Am I ruining the holidays? π
