Sooo neither @chasesommer nor I likes traditional Thanksgiving food and the more I chat with people about it the more I realize others think it's overrated too. Thought? https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/27517

Oh man I’ll take the counter x 100. Granted we get a local bird whose meat tastes terrific. Although we grow winter squash, we often skip it for thanksgiving as there is so much other deliciousness to enjoy. Mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, depending on who is hosting, green beans, mushrooms, pickle plate, carrots x turnip mash, sometimes a corn pudding or corn bread. A feast. Fresh cranberry sauce. Pies - I’m particular to pumpkin, we’ll also have apple and pecan typically.

I have a family of good cooks but just never saw the appeal of most of the food 😬 there have been years where we tried something new and it was better but just not an overall lover. I think I might be a food snob 😂

my fatal flaw is that when I hear someone doesn’t like thanksgiving I’ll think they haven’t eaten the right bird, or the right type of potato. yet understand there are some who will continue to prefer other options.

We get our meat from a local farm so I almost preordered a turkey but since neither of us really love it I couldn't justify it. I'm confident it'd be delish since all the other meat is so good but like I said just not a house fave
