The Olympics felt more washed this year

Like a grand tradition that doesn’t quite live up to its past years’ glory

Thinking it might be correlated with the general breakdown of the current world order, and may be yet another signal of a rearrangement to come

Is it just me, or anyone else feel this vibe?

I’ll add some of the energy comes from who you hand out with etc, we have one former track runner on our crew, so we naturally talked about the races.

Our other crew members definitely tuned out though, so your perspective may be accurate for many.

Yeah it helps to feel “connected” to it somehow, and I think the shared connection of years past wasn’t as strong
