somewhat related: as a dev I've mostly though about frames as experiences for the feed (because that's how I personally consume them). So I think a lot about the in-feed mechanics: images, CTA, share, etc. But with the explore page and adding they're more like apps. So I'm thinking about how to balance a landing page for the "app" with the in-feed version of the frame that's optimized for a single interaction. maybe the summary here is that for me as a dev (and maybe for users too?) there's a bit of a frame identity crisis: app or bite-sized, kick ass interactivity in the TL?

I think search, tags/categories and a short description of each frame would help immensely. I tend to check out the explore page and would like to know a little more about the frame before opening it. I only discover new ones when someone shares it. I engage with it if it is something that applies to me, i.e not a specific roundup or leaderboard for something I'm not involved with. I'll add it if the above is true and there is a reason to check back frequently (for example FarVille) I've tried finding new frames with the Warpcast "Frame" section, but I find it hard to determine what is worth clicking on and what they do before clicking on them. I'd love an App Store-like blurb about the frames, like 120 characters or something describing what it is.

almost always because someone shares it as a cast i add it if i can see myself using it at least once a day

I see them wen larger accounts recast I engage with if it seems safe, I don’t have to cast about it. At that point I add it. It stays added until I run out of space Best part of adding the frame is is the notifications to do xyz CC: @burrrrrberry who had some good thoughts on this topic

1. I discover them when/where they show up in my feed. This could work more effectively - I wish I could scroll a feed of just Frames (didn’t we used to have this for Frames V1?) 2. Engage if a friend made it, or the thumbnail looks interesting; “add” it if I think I’d use it again

- Usually on the feed when someone I know shares one. Maybe add a "featured frame" on the frames section? 🤔 - I click on basically any new frame I see, just to test and see what it is about.

@blockheim this is a good question that I think about often: 1. Right now discovering new frames is really hard. It might be cool if there was a sort / filter by Most Popular, Most Installed, Most Trending. 2. As more and more frames get added, I think there's a clear need for a directory service, even at a high level (utilities, games, tools). 3. Typically I'll see a frame in-feed and usually there's some social participation reason to add it. 4. Typically, I'll see too many notifications in Warpcast and ill stop using the frame b/c of notification fatigued. Diminishing returns. What do you think is the biggest challenge with discovery? What do you think is the biggest churn risk for frames? Why doesn't @warpcast start doing a Friday Fives (like Infatuation)? Let top frame builders recommend other frames they like and why.

- I would like to see a better preview or landing page for each frame with an explanation of what it does - Having to use another wallet is a limiting factor for me, I wish I could just use the Warpcast wallet for everything.

I mostly find new frames in the feed if it's introduced by anyone I follow like dwr, Jacek....I'll give it a try and if it's usefull I'll add them.
