Gm. It already costs $10+ gas to vote for Purple, but most people say they don't want to do that. What do you think Purple should do? 1. Use treasury to refund gas 2. Move on-chain voting to L2 (e.g. Base) 3. Encourage delegation 4. Do nothing, this is just stated vs revealed pref warpcast.com/billzh/0x0eaf42

we'd love to support this @cameron and @billzh - also discussed at a high level with @zaak. like @rish said, we don't have a grants program currently, but i'm here to get creative to figure out how we can support this to happen.

Happy to have a more detailed technical discussion around how to implement this. Maybe we can move our governor + auction + nft contracts to base, airdrop existing holders and make all subsequent auctions happen on base

Oof. I don’t think this would be a good idea for the token value tbh.

I don’t think tokens migrated to L2s hold value as well as those w native L1 provenance. L2s are fine for cheaper fees for things like swaps and votes, but not as the primary layer for tracking asset ownership. Since Purple is funded by token sales, anything that may reduce price should be viewed suspiciously.
