I think tipping is not the only utility though. Yes the allocations have been slashed but there's a whole lot of other things Degen has been working on in the past few weeks.

Completely agree. It's become too much of a whales game as does everything in crypto. It's hard to break in. I'm hopeful that after farcon they'll be dropping something to bring attention, and have rollouts regularly to maintain it. But rn the tipping nerf pulled attention away which has gone to Ham or Alfafrens

Nah, there will always be other tokens that can fill the void, with Degen as the underlying asset. The key is network adoption and behavior modification, which it it. This is about creating an ecosystem of interlocking projects, applications, and communities. We early, lots of room to grow. ☮️

Ham is defiant more dominant on the feed at the moment. hmm… Degen as parallel to an oil boom. The easy flowing crude has been tapped, now we’re moving onto lower flow from the well. I have a little more than $200 Degen a day at the moment. At $.02 vs $.1 value is $4 vs. $20. Just need reference adjustment.

1. People can tip & get tips 2. Tipping distribution should stay to reward value-add & get attention - not engagement farming 4. I like more tipping onchain 5. I love more use cases for Degen 6. Crypto is inflationary but Degen a token to hold > Scale tipping distribution down, drive utility onchain, enjoy sound econ.

Definitely tanked peoples interest, I think that’s evident by the speed at which folks are climbing the ranks who are still here….BUT I’ve seen plenty of newcomers get their first tiny allowance and stoked to use it and be a contributing part of the system. I love this place 💙
