I like the idea of eight sleep and their design, but it seems insanely overpriced. $3k for a mattress cover? And you also have to pay a monthly subscription to use the app?

Itโs expensive but when you break down the cost almost every night over a few years itโs worth it, especially for the improved quality of sleep and how important sleep is [have had one for the past 7 months]

Does the thing heat up your room to cool down your bed? I used a competitor that was much cheaper in the past and my room temp went up significantly

No, barely emits any heat or noise, bed gets and stays very cold and automatically adjusts temp throughout the night, also works individually on each side of the bed so that my girlfriend and I can set independent temps for our preferences

No it's that males typically run hotter than females and I used to work at Eight Sleep and see this happen all the time. I am gay and we just happily sleep in the AC together.
