For years I wanted to find a better word for “work” - for the things we must do. The things we care about. For money or not for money. I gave up. So I called this book “Good Work” trying to playfully reclaim it for people in a fun way. Good work may not come with a paycheck. But you need to do it anyway

Have you read Alain de Botton’s The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work? Or David Graeber’s Bullshit Jobs? Curious whether those takes have any bearing on yours.

The latter yes. I’ve actually tried to avoid a lot of work writing for the past couple of years. Trying to find my own perspectives. But that first one sounds intriguing.
