I finally sat down to read this piece on Lorne Michaels in NY Mag - it's a fantastic overview of the impressive feat of someone setting up a comedy empire (and the trickiness of knowing how, or when, or whether it's even possible to ever truly step away) https://www.vulture.com/article/snl-future-after-lorne-michaels-leaves-retires.html

Vibe coders... have any of you tried this? https://www.trynia.ai/ I'm looking for ways to get a better understanding of my own codebase so I can push features without breaking things every time, and wondering if this might help

It was incredibly cool to see Alex Miller, the CEO of Hiro, testify yesterday before Congress on why digital assets matter for U.S. innovation. I've known Alex since we worked together over a decade ago at Stack Overflow, and last year I joined the board of Hiro because I believe there's a big untapped opportunity to build on Bitcoin. Today I wrote a bit for my blog audience about why digital infrastructure matters, and why this ultimately needs to be a bipartisan issue: https://hardmodefirst.xyz/defining-the-rules-of-the-road-for-digital-assets

Morning chaos meets digital redemption in @bethanymarz's latest blog post. As two tech counterparts face the aftermath of a late-night coding spree, they navigate their blurred rhythms and communication failures in a satirical standoff over promised collaborations and buggy software rollouts.

We didn’t push to production… but things got complicated. A short script about breakups, branches, and bad decisions made between you and your AI. https://hardmodefirst.xyz/the-morning-afterone-crazy-hack-night

This is Cursor’s “talk me off the ledge” mode The last bullet point is just killing me: “Would you just like reassurance?” Yes. Yes I would

Omg haha I don’t want to mess up your flow! you are so good at the long synthesis posts so def stick with what works for you. Though if you’re looking to experiment, could be interesting to ask if you can also incorporate a writing mode that includes more regular “spillover” posts for incomplete thoughts that maybe build over time toward those classic long reads. You could also try “blog banking” if you think in longer form and then just break up a bigger idea into smaller chunks and drip them out daily or whatever
