I think bringing in people with other interests can be good to help spark new ideas and also balance out the accounts that only live to collect the rewards. I set my Token to 90% to fans. I sold my bottom performing FTs and locked the rest. Now I just go about my normal business here. I moderate on 2 channels besides my own art and projects. Naturally I give Moxie as rewards plus in my weekly contests via hypersub. So you get real content with the rewards and its less stressful for me to simplify it.

I imagine it's challenging to achieve, but I know that if you have that goal in mind, you'll get there. I've always believed that artists and art enthusiasts deserve quality content. However, many channels are created just to send tips, and the moderators don't engage. That's why I created /anemale—because with the little time I have left, I try to have deep conversations with artists. I also create daily art features because I want to highlight these artists. I've appointed moderators who provide very insightful comments. I hope that one day I can reward them for their contributions.

Honestly a bit surprised to hear this! The way things are set up now the Moxie flows from the most popular (or invested in Moxie) people to whoever they choose to interact with. It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with curation or rewarding good content. It can flow to the most mundane posts just because people know each other. Are things going to change to be something more like /impact by @abundance where good content is the actual focus of rewards and not just for the people with the highest social scores? Genuinely would love to hear the implementation details for putting good content first!
