My twitter account was 30,000 plus before I deleted it. Moved to threads Mastodon and warpcast. Built all three up from nothing to around 8,000 followers on each.

Overall, I would agree, but I do think that the value lies in effective communication, content creation skills, and how it influences people rather than a high number. For all we know, an account with +25K could have low engagement, and that would be worthless, I think.
