When each of our kids turned 10, each parent took them on a 1:1 trip (trips varied: backpack camping, city break, Camino de Santiago). We got to talk about all kinds of things, including core values. My values: -Honesty -Trustworthiness -Loyalty -Humility -Compassion Spend the time to make yours explicit; totally worth the effort!

Family values started with our vows. Excerpts: - accept you for who you are and who you will be - respect and support - share celebrations and burdens - stay sweet, never take for granted Turns out these are also my life values
