My American friends here, I heard that is good to use shredder for bills or payments with credit cards. Does anyone recommend in buying it and do you use it?

We have one that we use sometimes. But when we do use it it's for that exact purpose. We use it less now because almost everything is online and paperless.

Thanks Madison, but when you do payments in cafe or supermarket do you take receipts? If I understand well, this is what we need to shred, are there anything else to add? Sorry for many questions.

Don't apologize; ask all the questions you need! I typically don't take the receipt for most purchases but when I do take them I don't typically shred them. Unless it's a receipt for something like the car mechanic that would have other sensitive information

You don't need to shred receipts, because almost always, only the last 4 digits of your credit card should be on the receipt.
