If, after Musk’s Nazi salute, the U.S. crypto ecosystem and tech industry do not distance themselves from Trump and Musk, it will reveal a great deal about their true understanding of freedom and decentralization. I’m waiting to see how many influencers and big figures make public statements criticizing it.

If I had to pick just one positive thing crypto has brought to the World, it’s the progress in cryptography and zero-knowledge mechanisms and opensource tooling to implement it. It’s incredibly powerful way beyond the Web3 bubble. It’s one of the few innovations that can genuinely make our digital lives safer and more private.

Almost a year ago, I published my "Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto". Have we made any fucking progress? Absolutely fucking not. some of the recent restrictions to channels make Farcaster feel like an exclusive club would be cool to have an option to create decentralized channels where every member is an owner. I think Farcaster would be the best place to start a community this way. A channel for book lovers for example -- fully community managed
