pretty adorable to think “freed technology” could be anything but another mechanism of control, rebranded as liberation. Power doesn’t vanish. It adapts, embeds itself deeper, and operates through the very systems you believe will set us free. Technology isn’t outside the apparatus; it’s part of it, ensuring the status quo not by force, but by your own participation.

If "freed technology" is FOSS, I don't know what you're on about. Do you feel controlled by Linux? FOSS is literally a "fuck-you" to control, you can make what you want of the software / tech / innovation. When I participate in open-source, do I reinforce the status quo? On another subject, I love the takes that those anon accounts allow, pretty funny ;)
