/books used to be my favourite channel. Not a fan that it turned into an exclusive club I love books and the fact that they are accessible to absolutely anyone. Knowledge should be open and so does a book club. So I'm starting /open-books channel where anyone is welcome. Anyone can join and vote anyone out. There's no 👑

some of the recent restrictions to channels make Farcaster feel like an exclusive club would be cool to have an option to create decentralized channels where every member is an owner. I think Farcaster would be the best place to start a community this way. A channel for book lovers for example -- fully community managed

I find the most enjoyable books are unbiased history books and the most interesting history is hidden behind other genres. currently enjoying history of decentralized organizations

the most neatly put together storage proof verifier contract I've seen so far @wilsoncusack 👏👏👏 very clean & easy to follow how each part of the proof is verified https://github.com/wilsoncusack/state-proof-poc/blob/main/onchain/src/StateVerifier.sol

probably the best in-depth explainer of ZK I’ve come across. It clearly distinguishes between the main privacy aspect and the performance property of not requiring recomputation https://youtu.be/7SwTy1MCgEY?si=KKk_iJ4WB7j82cXH

great talk from @dwr.eth on the early stages of building a protocol, even though it's from a year ago, it's packed with timeless gems on onboarding early users and fostering a strong community. I wish warpcast supported threads to dive deeper into it, but here are my top takeaways, especially in relation to Apple’s App Store being the most successful protocol: 1. what developers really want from a protocol is users 2. the first builders on the protocol are its earliest users who often don’t even need documentation to start solving their own pain points https://youtu.be/1B0-M_UokzM?si=a28tk6V2JzDu4Zzs

Farcaster could still be the best protocol to build decentralized Telegram. Not because it provides the best primitives to build encrypted communication but because it offers a frictionless bridge to onchain infrastructure. Technical challenges are solvable with time but path to decentralization must be premeditated
