What are everyone's favorite chains for doing defi right now? And why?

Personally still love mainnet for the entrenched players (and staking), getting more into base, but not as many quality options there. Haven't dived in on berachain but hear it's been a popular one.

Curious to hear yours.

Call me old fashioned. 
Mainchain and Arbitrum.

Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base are my go-to L2s
