From what I've been seeing the last few dayss, there's a lot of people who hate web3 because of these two misconceptions:

1. It is a scam, all projects here have no long term use case
2. They are bad for the environment

I'm building an NFT-native content and art machine at Coven, aiming to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 fandoms while focusing on long-term use cases rather than constant sales and community value extraction. In short, solving for long term use cases and experimenting with L2’s hence the second one also in a way.
