I can't claim 120 years but the pull of California for anyone in tech is a constant but one I've also declined at every turn. I think for me it's the allure of another road I could have taken. So much would be the same and so much might be different. For whatever reason, redwoods feature in my imagination. It's hard not to imagine on occasion.
