This reads more as the difference between artists and artisans. While I lean more artisan, artists create incredible things as well! But artists, to me, create from the heart and soul and genai art doesn’t hit that for me.

I agree w @mxvoid. I think this is largely an issue when artists use AI as their art vs using it as a tool.. or using it to *find* a style vs coming into it w a style they’re expanding on. I’ve been developing my personal artistic language for 20+ yrs & for me AI is just another tool I play with to make stuff.
