Have you been to Europe? Like what is this based on?
Everything I’ve had food-wise has been plentiful, while in the US I’ve had lots of small portions (usually at places using higher quality ingredients). The large portions are usually low quality meat, produced by slave labour from mexican day labourers, bolster by far too much French fries (basically worthless filler).
In contrast, order a casoulet in France, a Paella in Spain, a pasta dinner in Italy, an English breakfast in the UK, a doner kebab in basically any country (but especially in Berlin where great doner is on every corner). You will be bursting at the seems, physically sick you are so full. And add to that a 2€ beer or great bottle of wine for under 10€. The quality of the experience is so much higher, yet the portions are still plentiful.
And as for taxes, some countries, like Portugal, don’t even tax crypto gains; or even income earned in crypto. Compared to the US this is an incredible boon to investors. 1 reply
