one thing that always strikes me after visiting my parents, i really don't like HDTV

everything appears like it's been made using a camcorder and motion/movements look very CGI, or as the kids today would say, AI generated

Sometimes it looks fine.

i haven't really "watched" stuff outside of my phone or computer in the past 17 years now so i'm not sure anymore

also have never really been into AV quality enough to geek out over high fidelity or resolution specs either 😅
