would love to add a poetry flow, how do you think we'd prevent scammers? poems are pretty easy to have ai generate is the main issue

That’s really concerning. Focusing on the depth and quality of the poetry flow could help. I’ve been in some competitions and the poetry entries that were acknowledged had evidence of visible effort applied.

hmm i just think writing compared to other things eg: where photos/videos are shared is harder to verify, hmm

Someone like @arjantupan for example has a recognizable writing style that's unmistakably human. I understand though, but maybe being a poet has helped me develop an edge in telling when a poem was made with zero effort

And @rocketman, not sure how you do the flows. I've used rounds for poetry rewards. Curating is one way. I also rigorously check channel members with bot-or-not. That really helps. In a competition, you will quivkly see AI patterns. Rhymes, word-choice, and so on.

Requirements for poetry could be value focused. Respectful, fun, uplifting.

4 per month is a good frequency.

Human-written or risk ban?

Syllabic forms are good to help with AI detection. It's not super good at implementing syllables count restrictios. Haiku, cinquante, or the forms I created such as the higher inspired highku.
