Here’s my first piece of performance art “Depression 1” (12 hrs) I wanted to capture what depression feels like. Everyone can relate to laying in bed all day, stuck with their own thoughts. Future performance art to come! Process below ⬇️ https://youtu.be/bNd8AozBzzA?feature=shared

Nice, nice, nice. I recently read Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman and the author mentions an art professor whose first student assignment is to choose an artwork and go look at it, without doing anything else, for three full hours I don't know why but this made think of that

I read half and I’ll save the rest for later. Thanks for sharing antimo. I understand where you see the connection - moments of stillness can bring insight 🤗 Although I think the person stuck in this bed will never have insight.

You're right. I've been in that bed and, well maybe you do have an insight every now and then, but it's hard to do something about it or think that it even matters. It's a long road

Yes it’s a very long road. And it can take a long time.
