all about those decks, metrics, and landing pages baby. gotta specialize and adapt to the times. but most importantly learn how to sell your skillset to people who need it. i see like 10-20 designers getting all the work and making mid/high 6 figures doing the same work over and over again.

yeah designers (sadly? weirdly?) are not good at selling themselves I'd like to think Chris Do and crew helped with that but for some reason I don't think they did much

Architects suffer from the exact same problem. Weirdly skittish with regard to their (our) value and specific knowledge. It's hard to verbalize. We're taught to build a narrative around the design rather than the value the design creates.
