If I wanted to make a DIY gift card, how could I do it? I can create new wallets ofc but then I'd have the keys. 

I want to be able to send ERC20 to a fresh wallet and I want only the recipient to be able to claim it and see the key by scanning a QR code.

iirc coinbase wallet allows you to send to a phone number and recipient claims in a brand new wallet address

you're talking about the burner cards in the QC? That was just an example, I want a much simpler flow!

with these burners, you can tap on your phone to set up, send crypto to the address, and then gift them. You don’t get the keys. You set up a PIN code but the recipient can change it later.

should be simple to do by now, similarly to warpcast restoring keys generated initially via email sign up

What did you mean by that are you trying to create wallet
