I dont like putting all my eggs in one basket. This is specially true for security. I haven’t looked too much into the new Passwords app but what happens if your apple account gets compromised (e.i. Via a sim swap)? Do you lose access to all your passwords as well?

Yes. Never give it out, so you would have find out from someone at Google or Apple to know it was associated with me.
