imo the points meta emerged as a result of a lack of regulatory clarity that made many products/protocols afraid to issue a token offchain points are a total step backwards for both users and protocols

Great article outlining the difference between an onchain point and tokens. I would be curious if you or stack have done any analytics on the cost of issuing points onchain especially at scale?
