GM Woke up at 5am this morning and instantly slipped into a pessimistic mood doused with an unhealthy side of victim complex. Wrote a scathing rant about how everyone else f**ked things up for me. Didn’t post it anywhere. Did some deep breathing and meditated on it for a while. Shifted to a state of gratitude. Re-read the rant and reframed it from a lens of learning. “What lessons can I take from the experience?” Reframed my day just by switching to a learning mindset. What are tools you use to pull yourself out of a negative frame of mind?

I'm not sure I have a typical tool I use myself. I'm quite fortunate that I don't get depressed often. I think I remind myself regularly what a great life I have. Now, about you: you are a wonderful man, brother. I am spending a weekend with my wife (and without the kids this time) in London, and I was just telling her over dinner yesterday about what an amazing artist you are and how fun our call was a while ago. Just saying.
